How do I enable auto run to main after program load?

I am using version 4.2.1.00004 and I have

CCS Debug/Target - Auto Run Options -

Run to symbol = main

On a program load or restart (checked)

This was working for months then stopped

I also restored defaults

Hi Paul,

To enable on a global level, go to Window->Preferences' and then see the below:

On a per project level, you can get to the same options from the project debug properties. See slides 33 & 35 of the tips and tricks.

The image below details my settings. After a program load the software automatically runs on both my desktop and notebook computers. I would like to not run at all.

Then make sure "On a program load or restart" is unchecked.

I have the Global and Project settings "On a program load or restart" is unchecked. Still runs automatically

If you are doing a "Debug Active Project", check your project debug properties settings (my first reply at bottom for where you can check these).
