During CCS11 session on EVM TMDSLCDKOMAPL138, trying to defined new ccs project template/example SYS/BIOS > TI Target > Minimal, the platform field was not defined, see images attached

This is a known issue:

To workaround the issue, please explicitly add the abolute path to the <BIOS6 INSTALL DIR>\packages directory. Once that is done, there will be an option for the Platform drop-down list:
