How to set up Hwi-Instance Setting

Hello, I'm a beginner in CCS.

In ccs, in order to set the definition table of interrupts, use the "SYS/BIOS, Schduling, Hwi-Instance Settings" of the app .cfg file.
I'd use it.

Do you know the easy-to-understand instructions for this operation?
For beginners, it's confusing and takes time to understand.
I don't have ccs experience, so I ask people, but I don't know at once,
I'm looking online, but I couldn't find the instructions.
What is the best instruction manual?

Please start from EDMA3 documentations here.

EDMA3 LLD User's Guide is located at edma3_lld_2_12_05_30E/release_notes_edma3_lld.html -> Documentation -> EDMA3 Driver User's Guide and EDMA3 Driver Application Programming Interface Reference Guide.

Please also refer to PDK example project UART_BasicExample_Dma_bbbAM335x_armTestProject which has example of configuring EDMA interrupts. This FAQ describes how to generate the PDK example projects.

The UART DMA example that I mentioned earlier actually has DAM interrupt setting inside the UART LLD, so it is not a good example for you. Please check the example in EDMA3 LLD: edma3_lld_2_12_05_30E\examples\edma3_driver\src\dma_link_test.c.

(1) However, the user's guide and reference guide do not describe how to set to CCS.
(2)In "dma_link_test.c", the transmission completion interrupt is set by the EDMA3_DRV_setPaRAM function on the 222nd line. Where is the place to receive this interrupt?

Hello,

After the transfer is complete, a call back function will be invoked by the EDMA interrupts handler. The callback function is registered via EDMA3_DRV_requestChannel():

        result = EDMA3_DRV_requestChannel (hEdma, &ch2Id, &tcc2,
            (EDMA3_RM_EventQueue)0,
            &callback1, NULL);

Therefore, the application code doesn't need to explicitly setup the interrupt vector table.
