Indexer continuously working, CCS slowest and unusable

hello,

CCS 11.0.0.00012, it keeps showing the Setting up indexer message and progress bar 100% but never ends.

Jumping from editor tab to another takes 3 seconds and everything is slowest (selecting code, even writing code is unresponsive).

I already started CCS with -clean option and disabled indexer from preferences, but nothing changes.

Did you disable at both the workspace level and project level? Note that the project properties can override the workspace level ones (though this has to be explicitly done).

Assuming the indexer is disabled, then you should not really be seeing the indexer message.

Also try cleaning the workspace:

Note that once you clean the workspace, the workspace properties would get reset. Hence you would need to explicitly disable the indexer again.

Hello Ki,

after posting I found something on the internet (sorry don't remember anymore - lot of searching meanwhile - maybe the same guide you pointed me) that suggested to manually delete all the metadata folder, which had no immediate effect (CCS still slow for one day) but today it works fine.
