CODECOMPOSER: AM64x - ROV _connect failed to start agent: MissingExtension

Hi,

I tried ROV using the following setup:

• AM64x GP EVM, https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDS64GPEVM
• On-board XDS110 emulator
• AM64x MCU+SDK 08.01.00.36, https://www.ti.com/tool/download/MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM64X
• CCS 11.0
• SDK task switch example: https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM64X/08_01_00_36/exports/docs/api_guide_am64x/EXAMPLES_KERNEL_FREERTOS_TASK_SWITCH.html

ROV worked correctly for me using this setup.

Thanks for your reply. I've made some progress.

Now ROV seems to be connecting properly, but when choosing OS Kernel -> Task Instances (FreeRTOS) it says.

"No data to display".

Any ideas?

Hi Nir,

Is this on a TI EVM, or a custom board? Have you tried ROV with an MCU+SDK example project? Is this your own CCS project?
