Delete project cannot be undone

Hi Team,

I recently encountered a scenario where I checked the box for deleting project contents on the disk only to realise it cannot be undone!!! (for real!) A totally grave mistake.

I mean, every file gets a second chance to be recovered from the recycle bin and live again. I do not understand why ccs decides to delete it permanently forever :(

So, any chance to recover the project?

Hello Madhurya,

Unfortunately, if "deleting the project contents on disk" is selected, then the project (and any files inside the project folder) is gone. Deleting a project from Eclipse is not the same as deleting a folder from Windows Explorer (where it will move to the trash bin first). In CCS/Eclipse, you can restore deleted files from a project. But you cannot restore a whole project that was deleted. Maybe you can try using some file recovery tool but there is no native support for recovering a deleted project in CCS/Eclipse. Sorry
