Is CCS connections limited to 3 USB ports?

Hello CCS team and colleagues

Concerns: Code Composer Studio, Version: 11.0.0.00012

More instances of CCS can be opened, featuring multi CPU debugging.

Unfortunately it is not possible to connect more than 3 USB devices.

Is CCS connections limited to 3 USB ports?

-or if not then how to add more USB ports?

Yes unfortunately there is a limitation of 3 USB connections for MSP430. I am not aware of any way to work around this restriction.

Michael,

I know of no plans to change this. Personally what I would like to see is that you select that you are using an MSP430 USB FET and then in the properties, you could specify the ID. That would allow you to have N of them as long as the IDs were unique. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that will ever be implemented.
