I have recently installed CCSv4 and followed this article to load a project on target

for some reason, all options under Target are greyed out so I cannot load a program, connect/disconnect a target or run etc.
It does say that I am connected to right target and have right configuration file.
Can someone help me sort out this problem.
I am using Win 7 pro 32 bit with CCS v4.2.3.00004, C2000 XDS510LC emulator and 2808 processor. The project is imported from CCS v3.3.
