Hello,

I am working on the TMS302F28388D, using the CM and hence doing multiprocessors debug.

Right now I am repeating actions each time:

Right click on a given ccxml target configuration and launch selected configuration
Right click on CPU1 then connect
Right click on CM then connect
Load program on CPU1
Load program on CM
Launch CPU1
Launch CM

Is this something I can script somehow to avoid the repetitivity ?

I never tried doing scripting in CSS so not sure where to start from.

Hello Clément,

We are having trouble finding that part number. Could you please double-check it? If the part number is correct, what is the name of the EVM associated with the part?

Hello Clément,

There are two options.

One is to use a Debug Launch Confiugration so that when you launch the debugger for that configuration, it does the actions you desire.

The second is to create a DSS script to automate the actions. You can run the DSS script from inside CCS via the Scripting Console. You can even have it so that the script will add a little menu item in CCS that you can press to execute the script.

Hello Ki,

Right I am stupid... should have thought about the debug launch configuration.

However, if I want to do the connect of CPU1/CM (not CPU2 nor the 2 CLAs) and load in CPU1 RAM/CM RAM, launch CPU1 but manually launch CM, I guess it's rather the second option no ?

In which case I would be more interested in getting to understand the later.

It is possible. You would need to make sure you specify programs to load for CPU1 and CM, make sure the debugger option to autoconnect to the cpu after launch is enable for BOTH cores, and have autorun enable for the 28x but NOT for the CM.
