CODECOMPOSER: Codecomposer 11 very slow to build when connected to network.

I have tried building the typical SYS/BIOS example and it takes forever to build when connected to the company network, I gave up after 10 minutes. (Running Windows 10)

It stalls first here ""C:/TI/ccs1110/ccs/tools/compiler/ti-cgt-c2000_21.6.0.LTS" --compileOptions "-g" "../app.cfg""

If I disable the network connection the build takes seconds.

Hello,

We have heard similar issues that turned out to be related to antivirus or other security issue within the network. Example:

Can you try disabling any antivirus or security software (temporarily of course) and see if trhat ehlps?

I suspected it might be that as the Antivirus used is McAfee which is specifically mentioned in the installation.

Unfortunately the windows policy set means I have no control over that.

We are still using Code Composer 6 so looks like we will have to stay with that version.

Yes, McAfee is known to cause some issues with CCS.

Instead if disabling it, would it be possible to whitelist all of CCS?
