I have a global Q value that I want to either select as an option OR have all Natural numbers display as the global Q value. Is there a way to do this.
In the CCSv4 watch view you can set the format in which you want to view the variable (right-click on the variable and select the desired Q value). Then the next time the workspace is started up those values should be preserved. Is this what you were looking for? I don't believe there is a way to set the variables to default to a Q value though within the CCS preferences.
Presently in the drop down Q list there are 3 Q choices. I would like to add a 4th Q choice, the one my system is built with.
Tom
You can choose the Q value to set to by going to Q-Values->Select Q-Value, and type in a value there.
Yes, I understand that. Is there a way to CUSTOMIZE the IDE to ADD a Q24 to the drop down LIST.

Sorry, I don't believe this is customizable by the user.
