CCS11 provide Arm Hex Utility generate .hex file when execute Build command.

What is the source file for Arm Hex Utility in default setting?

I need translation .appimage to .hex file and add offset value.

How to setting Arm Hex Utility?

For example:

Output .hex file (offset 0x80000)

To see the documentation of the hex utility, please search the TI ARM assembly tools manual for the chapter titled Hex Conversion Utility Description. However, I don't think that will be very helpful at this point.

Exactly which TI device do you use? That device probably has a Software Development Kit for it, and that kit contains examples of how to use the hex utility. That is much more likely to be helpful.

I use AM2632 with mcu_plus_sdk_am263x_08_02_00_28.

Could you provide hex utility example file path?

Hi Jay,

AM263x MCU+SDK uses the TI Arm Clang Compiler Tools.

The hex conversion utility is documented here: https://software-dl.ti.com/codegen/docs/tiarmclang/compiler_tools_user_guide/compiler_manual/hex_utility_description/index.html#

The only usage I see for the hex conversion utility is in converting SBL .out files from ELF to binary dump format as part of generating the boot image.

For example, see this SDK make file: <SDK>/examples/drivers/boot/sbl_null/am263x-cc/r5fss0-0_nortos/ti-arm-clang/makefile.

The hex conversion utility is used as part of <CCS>\ccs\utils\tiobj2bin\tiobj2bin.bat. The comments in this batch file have more information.
