I am trying to program a TMS320C31 device, using a XDS510-USB2.0 DSP emulator. The customer has supplied me with a .out file, but I am unsure how to run this.
I have tried using loadti from CCS, but it is requesting a configuration file. Which I am also having difficulties creating, as this device isn't present within CCS V4.1.0 & V4.2.5 device list.
Can you tell me how to run the .out file and which version of CCS supports TMS320C31 devices?
Hi Aaron,
CCS never supported the C3x. You need to old CC (without the "S") tools from the 90's which pre-dates the CCS line.
These old tools require a paid license. Did you (or your organization) ever have a license for it?
Thanks

Hi Ki,
We do not have a license for this.
Are licenses still available for purchase and is there a trial run we can try to check if it will work?
Thanks,
Arron
Can you start a private E2E conversation with me to discuss your options?
Thanks
