awesome job! the CCS in the cloud!
but I am wondering how I can use the projects locally in my vs-code instead of using this huge CCS installation? =)

Sascha,
You could certainly use VS Code as your editor but unfortunately, there is no support for building CCS projects from VS Code or debugging TI devices.
CCS Cloud is using "Theia" which is an open-source project. You can think of it as a vendor-neutral VS Code. it uses the same editor, supports the same extensions...

For CCS Cloud we have our own build system and debugger plugged into it. However we don't have a desktop version of this today.
CCS desktop is very bulky today. You can select to download the "on-demand" version of the installer. This will download an initial installer and then based on your installation selections it will download the rest of what you need. If you are only using 1 family of devices this can greatly reduce the download and installation size.
BTW which device are you using?

John
Thanks John! Yeah I already did that.. but just editing without the possibility to build isn't really satisfying :(
Thanks for the insights, maybe I will just try to use the cloud version more =)
I am using the CC26xx families
