Hi, i would like to ask for help. I need to create a biss c communication(library and code) in CCS studio my encoder is RE 58 from RLS and my controller is C2837xD and i am not very good in programming, my spi communication already works i just have to read position data via BiSS-C. I am using GPIOs 58 and 61 to communicate and no FIFO is needed.

Hello,

TI has available a TIDesign for the BiSS-C encoder interface. The source code for the library is not available but the documentation it may give you some ideas.

The design uses the CLB to clock the SPI and the encoder clock (MA line) as required by the protocol.
