Hy TI,

I use the Sysconfig tool version 1.11.0_2225 for AM62. Sysconfig offers the possibility of using TI's EEPROM drivers. If 2 EEPROMs are used and the code is generated, only one EEPROM can be addressed. The generated code should not normally compile because 2 variables with the same name are created in the "ti_board_open_close.c" file.

Is this a known issue or has it been fixed in a newer sysconfig version? Or do you know a workaround for this?

OK, here is the generated code in ti_board_open_close.c.

I have seen code generation issues in other template files. You are probably better off posting in the microcontrollers forum since I think these teams are responsible for the template files.

In the meantime, you could try to modify the relevant template (.xdt) file. For example, line 60 of C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_00_00_00\driverlib\.meta\can\can.board.c.xdt

	CAN_startModule(myCAN0_BASE);

should be

CAN_startModule(`instance.$name`_BASE);

Hey Michael,

Along with Kier's suggestions above, I would recommend always using the latest version of the SysConfig tool and associated device SDK. You can also use dev.ti.com to ensure you're always using the latest data and tool sets.

Thanks for your answer. I think in the xdt file it is correct, but the generated file is wrong. Normally the name shall be used, but the generated file uses the EEPROM device name. The error is still present in the latest SysConfig version. I will switch the discussion to the microcontrollers forum.
