CODECOMPOSER: CCS 11.0.0.00012 hangs when starting "launch.js" and Register window is opened

Using CCS 11.0.0.00012 to debug C7x APP on J721E_EVM.

when launching the "pdk_jacinto_08_00_00_37\packages\ti\drv\sciclient\tools\ccsLoadDmsc\j721e\launch.js" script and "register window" is opened, CCS becomes unresponsible.

Took me few hours to find out the reason why my CCS has frozen at that launch.

Hello,

If the register view is closed, does the issue still happen?

Hi Ki,

If it is closed, then of course, the issue doesnt happen.

I have lost 3 hours of my life to find out. Just do something about it to help others

Thanks. I tried to reproduce the issue but it worked fine for me regardless of if the Registers view is open or not. However I am using the latest CCS and PDK version. I'll see if I can reprdouce using the older version that you are

CCS definitely hangs for me when running the script on CCS 11.0 (works fine in CCS 11.2). It may be something that was fixed in current CCS versions. Can you try CCS 11.2?

Yeah, CCS11.2 doesn't have this problem, that was an up-to-date update :)
