Code Generation Tools Updates Error

Hi,

I'm facing Code Generation Tools Updates error.

When I tried to build my project, Code Generation Tools Updates is required.

I tried Code Generation Tools Updates by tool update in CCS but below error came up.

HTTP Proxy Authentication Required: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/CCSv11/Updates/content.xml

 

Tried to access thru browser, below the same error came up.

    Kasuya,

    It is not possible to access https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/CCSv11/Updates/content.xml via a browser.  That is a file that gets read by the CCS update tool.  It looks like TI IT is requiring you to provide authentication in order to access that location.

    If you know the information you can specify it in the preferences dialog in CCS.  Go to Network connections under General.  Then select http and then click the edit button. You can then fill in your required proxy information.

    If you don't know your proxy info then alternatively you can download the compiler separately from ti.com.

    I am not sure which compiler you need but you can go to: https://www.ti.com/tool/TI-CGT

    Then click on the link for the compiler you need: Arm, C2000...

    There will then be a download options button.  Click that.  It will show you the latest version by default but you can click on the link to show all versions.
