Hi,

Enric,
I do not have a good answer for this. I can see the same on my machine. In general I believe for the older TI-RTOS we default to opening the .cfg files in a text editor. The newer TI-RTOS7 uses the SysConfig tool instead which has much better dark mode support. Unfortunately Tiva C does not have TI-RTOS7.

John
Enric,
Unfortunately this view is really a custom editor so the ability to customize via the Eclipse settings is limited. It seems to be picking up some colours (not sure if it is getting those from Eclipse or the OS) but others seem to be hard coded.
In my preferences, I tried changing as many of the white items as I could to bold colours so that I could see if they made a difference. I did not have any luck.
Regards,
John
Enric,
I have filed a bug for it but to be honest it would be extremely unlikely that it would ever get fixed.

John
Hi again,
If you download this theme extension from eclipse marketplace (https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/darkest-dark-theme-devstyle), the XCONFIG app works fine with the dark theme (I use the "Darkest Dark" theme).
I haven't test it in deep but I think this is the answer I was searching for. I hope this result hepfull for any other user with my situation.
Again, thank you John for your answers.
Enric
Enric,
Thank you for posting this. I can add that to the workaround for other users. Maybe there is something in there that our team could replicate that would fix this in our dark them.
Regards,
John
