CODECOMPOSER: Importing EB tresos in CCS

Hi Experts,

Seeking your assistance on this query from Cx:

I am using EB tresos provided by TI for MCAL Configuration. I need some help in understanding some files. I was able to generate configuration files from EB tresos and imported them into CCS.

But along with it there are other files also to be imported which I do not understand where to find. Please help me as I am new to this topic

Below I am attaching a pic for reference from the Software document of AUTOSAR on the TI website.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • ...update:

Already referred this step to my Cx (#6) :

but no help. Still confused as it doesn't mention which include and source files are placed under common subfolder.

Also drivers are located in EB>tresos>plugins, which files are to be copied from there in workspace that is not mentioned.

    For your guidance. Thank you.

    Regards,
    Archie A.

  • The files in common folder are from AutoSAR BSW. The SchM is BSM scheduler which provides exclusive area implementations.

The files in Drivers folder are MCAL drivers from the MCAL installation folder.

  • Hi QJ,

So which files should be included? Hope to enlightened us here.

I imported MCAL drivers into CCS that are under "drivers" subfolder that is clear to me. But from where to import inclue and src folderss under common "subfolder" its still not clear , from where should i get schm files? are they generted in EB tresos or does TI provide it?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Archie A.

  • Hi Archie,

Some header files in common folder are used by MCAL drivers and MCAL config files. Those header files such as SchM_<module>.h, Det.h, Dem.h should be from AutoSAR BSW. In the example, most of those header files are empty.

Some other header files in the example am header files defined and used by F021 Flash API library.
