Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hi all

I am working with CCStudio 3.3 and the Imaging Development Kit C6000 (IDK). I tried to compile an example application (grayscale.ptj) but I am having problems with it:

>> WARNING: invalid compiler option -mxw (ignored)

I don't know what to do? Any suggestion?

Thanks

David

  • Well, that's quite odd.  I don't think that would work with any version of the C6000 compiler.  Maybe something got messed up during the download or install?  Anyway, change -mxw to just -mw.  That will fix it.

    Thanks and regards,

    -George

  • Thanks a lot, that solved the problem. I don't really know what it the cause. The only thing is that I'm using CCS 3.3 and the IDK files are for version 2.2, but the installation went fine. However, when I load a IDK example project, CCS displays a warning about it is necessary to update the CBD configuration file to the new TConf script format (TCF). Could it be?

In this case, I'd like to know what -mxw and -mvw options are for?

    Thanks a lot
    David

  • To my knowledge, no such option "-mxw" has ever existed for C6000, which is no doubt what George finds so odd.  "-mvw" would be "-mv" with argument "w", which means CPU version "w", which is not one of the valid choices.
