Hi,
I installed CCSv5 (5.0.1.201101102000) but could not find target config file for Centaurus (AM387x) over there. I need CCSv5 because it is linux aware and supports both kernel and application level debugging.
Can someone help?
Thanks.

Anuj,
The configuration for Centaurus should be named TI814x - apparently that is the generic name for the device family.
However, please note the recommended configuration for TI814x users is 5.0.2 - check the CCSv5 download page.
Hope this helps,
Rafael
Rafael,
I was able to install 5.0.2 and find TI814x configuration over there. I followed the steps mentioned in the wiki created by you but got stuck after I launch the debugging session. After I press the debug button, it doesn't load the vmlinux file I specified and just connects to the A8. I tried manually loading this file but that didn't work.
Do you have any idea why this didn't work? I stopped the boot process at the uboot as mentioned in the wiki.
I am using DM814x EVM with XDS510 USB emulator.
Thanks.
Hi Rafael,
I was able to debug linux kernel by following the steps as mentioned in the below wiki:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/int-code_composer_studio/f/90/t/99211.aspx
Thanks for your support.
PS: I have few more questions on the features we have in CCSv5 for linux debug for which I will raise another post.
