Cannot connect DSP of C6A8168!

What version of CCS are you using? At a guess I would say 5.02 or 5.01.

Try upgrading to 5.03 and you will see that the DSP has the right name.

When I update to CCS5.0.3,the problem as before!

WHY?

Did you try creating a new launch configuration? i.e. not reusng the old one?

I did and it works fine on Wndows.

When I update to CCS5.03, the DSP target change from C64X to C674X, But I can not connect the DSP device also. The error as follows:

Error connecting to the target:
The target is being held in reset. The applied reset must be released before progressing.
 (Error -1180) @ 0 (0x0)

Error connecting to the target:
Invalid data was scanned by the emulation controller.Verify the board setup to make sure the scan chain is properly defined. If the setup is correct, then RESET EMULATOR.  This will disconnect each target from the emulator.  The targets should then be power cycled or hard reset followed by an emureset and reconnect  to each target.
 (Error -1146) @ 0 (0x0)

I what to know what Emulator do you use? My emulator is XDS560, and what should I do?

I use the XDS560v2 STM USB debugger from Spectrum Digital.

Just slow down you JTAG.

I set 25MHz and all works!

I set mine to adaptive with a limit of 10.  I could probably go higher but I am running mine over the LAN and this seems to work well.  Settings are below:
