CCS v4.2.1 Graph function not available

Hello,

I have a simple question, in my CCS v4.2.1 there is no "Graph" option under Tools.

 

But i read all the time that it is supposed to be there, or at least it does exist on some other Computers with CCS v4.2.1.

 

Am i doing something terribly wrong, did i get the wrong version of CCS?

 

I really like some Visualization in my Code.

I am using an MSP430F5437A with the USB JTAG Debugger MSP-FET430UIF, if that does help.

I tried different target configs, like MSP USB and Datasnapshotmodel, nothing does help.

    Seb,

    Are you running the code size limited version of the tools?

    I just compared a 4.2.3 code size limited install with a 4.2.1 full tools install and in my code size limited install the graph menu items were not present but for my full install they are there.  When installing the free code size limited tools I don't believe the package that includes the graphs is part of the installation.

    that would be an possible answer.

     

    I couldnt find anything about my version, i suppose i have the code limited version, since i downloaded it from myTI.

    Can i find out what license i am using in the CCS Help options?

     

    But we also use a licensed one and in this one i couldnt find the graph function neither. But i cannot guarantee this, so i will go with youre answer.
