Buildfile generation error after updating compiler version to TI v21.6.1.LTS

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

I updated CCS a few days ago and now projects that built before the update no longer build.  I get the following error:

Buildfile generation error occurred..
Product c2000ware_software_package v4.1.0.00 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.
Build stopped..

I don't see where I can download a C2000ware with a version of v4.1.0.00, the newest I can find is 4.01.00.00.  Did a digit get transposed in the install process?

  • John,

The error is indicating that you don't have the designated version of C2000Ware installed on your local machine. You can install C2000Ware from ti.com or from dev.ti.com or by opening the Resource Explorer in CCS.

  • As I stated in my post, I can't find a version 4.1.0.00, the newest C2000ware I can find is 4.01.00.00.  I already have Version: 4.01.00.00 installed and it worked fine until the update.  Do you have a link to download 4.1?

  • Can you confirm where version v_4_01_00 of C2000Ware is installed on your local machine. Then confirm if the location is one of the paths listed in the Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> Products  Product discovery path window at the top. IF the path of your C2000Ware  Installation is missing, you should add it to the product discovery or reinstall C2000Ware to the default location.

Are you seeing this error due to a Linked Variable being tied to the presence of a C2000Ware software package?

It should be noted that 4.1.0.0 corresponds to C2000Ware v4_01_00_00.
