Profiling in CCS 5.0.2

Hi,

I am simulating C6678 in CCS v5.0.2. I tried to measure running time of some DSPLIB and IMGLIB functions but they won't appear in the Function Coverage or Line Coverage windows.

What should I do?

Is there any other way of measuring cycles? (I tried clock() but it always returns 0)

Hello,

You should be able to get function profile data for those functions. I see them with my test app. Which functions are you using from DSPLIB? Could you provide a small test case? I just need the executable.

Hi,

This is a program that calls DSPF_sp_mat_mul and DSPF_sp_mat_mul_cn in order to compare running times:

3857.mat_mult.zip

The DSPF_sp_mat_mul_cn function appears on the profile but the other one does not.
