How to build the CCS project inside Visual Studio Code?

I want to use the VS Code editor, is there a way to use the CCS compiler and build inside VSC?

I am using TMS320F2800xx controller.

Can anybody guide or direct me?

How to call external tools from VSC is probably best asked of Microsoft.

As Kier mentioned, one option is to use the CCS command-line project builder from VS code.
