ccs for tms470 series

Hello All,

I'Ve few queries regarding TMS470MF066, please will you do the needful.

1. Which is the CCS version preferable to use with TMS470MF066 series. Please mention part no. for the same as i need to order the same for product development.

2. Do we have any ccs user guide for TMS470 series like “Code Composer Studio™ v4.2 User's Guide for MSP430™”.

3. Code Generator Tool(cgt) comes with CCS OR we need to add this separately. What is the CGT version comes with ccs for TMS470 SERIES. Please provide cgt installation/user guide for this.

4. Please provide complier details used in CGT.

Mithun,

You are going to want to get a copy of the latest version of CCSv4.2 as the TMS470M is only supported in CCSv4.2+. If you are using a TI XDS100v2, then you can download the DVD image and it will automatically register a license as long as you only use the XDS100v2.

As for the Code Gen tools, they are included with the CCS installation and so long as you run the free update in the help section after installation, you will be given the latest code generation tools.

Thanks a lot for addressing my queries, I want some documents on usage of CGT as well compiler details.. Please can you provide helpful links for downloading.
