Version: 12.1.0.00007 Resource Explorer is not showing Software

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650

Dear Support Team,

i just installed the most actual Version of CCS and i wanted to download examples for my CC2650 LaunchPad, but when i open the TIReX it just shows me "Development Tools" and "Wireless connectivity" but NOT "Software". The TIReX detects my Board as CC2650 Launchpad but doesn't show me the software to download.

It is a fresh Installation of CCS 12 and not SDK have been installed yet. Everything was installed in default directories and Anti Virus was turned off during installation.

Im using Windows 11.

I installed the TI Cloud AGent manually after seeing that i cant download software but it has not changed anything.

Can you please tell me how to fix this problem? WHen i was using CCS10 6 month ago it worked to download the software examples via TIReX.

  • Hello kai,

TI-RTOS software solutions have recently been made not visible by default but can be easily added back in.  You will need to select "Manage Versions" next to one of the visible SDKs inside of TIREx under "Embedded Software", followed by "Summary" -> "TI-RTOS for CC2650" -> "Show", after which the package will now be visible.

    Regards,
    Ryan

  • Normally in all Tutorials there is a "Software" Folder in TIReX but for me i just see what i see on the picture i attached to this post. i dont have a TIReX Point where u mentioned it. See Screenshot

  • The TIREx structure has changed recently and thus you will need to follow my instructions starting from the three vertical dots to the right of one of the visible "Embedded Software" packages even though it is not your end target.

    Ryan

  • Ok i found what  you have explained above. Affter installing TI-RTOS. CCS is telling me i ve not installed all dependencies but i have installed XTCtools. See Screenshot of my c:/ti/.. folder

and trying to build a project results in the following errors:

  • Make sure that the correct XDCTools version is discovered from Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> Products.

    Regards,
    Ryan
