is JVM installation necessary to work on code composer?

Hello Team,

It is given in user guide that code composer studio is based on eclipse platform.

So is it necesarry to install JVM or eclipse to work on code composer ?

The old thread CCS/CCSTUDIO: Linux CCS install: Use system JVM? from 5 years ago explain that the CCS installation includes it's own JVM.

This is still true as of CCS 12.1.

I.e. code composer works without the user having to install a JVM themselves.

Yes, Chester is absolutely correct. CCS comes with its own JVM that it will use.
