Code Composer Studio Core Edition - Debugger disabled

Hello,

I am currently using Code Composer Studio Core Edition (vers. 4.2.3.00004) on Windows XP to program an evaluation board with MSP430 through MSP-FET430UIF. After I upload the program in the target board I am not able to run the debugger; the option Target -> Run is disabled. All the options related to the debugger (Halt, Step into, etc.) are disabled). Even the Target -> Connect Target is disabled. Should I reinstall the USB-Debug interface (MSP-FET430UIF)?
