CCSv4.2.3 Register View for F5529

Hi,

I'm working with CCS v4.2.3.00004 and the MSP430F5529 and can't see two registers in USCIB - I2C Mode. I see the other registers fine from the debugger, but cannot find the following registers:

USCI_Bx Interrupt Control

USCI_Bx Interrupt Vector

I understand how to get these in a memory window, but would like to have them shown in the View--> Registers window of the debugger in CCS. Can you tell me how to fix this please?

Indeed the registers are not defined. I filed SDSCM00040755 today (you can check its status in the link SDOWP below).

Thanks for the quick response.

Can you give me an estimate as to when a fix will be available for this problem? Is there a workaround that could be implemented? I found the xml files in the modules directory, is there an easy way to modify these to correct the problem?

Rick,

Check the workaround shown in the bug. It shows the necessary modifications for the files.

Unfortunately I don't have a board to test these, but would you mind doing this and checking if I did not miss anything?

SDOWP is coming up with an Error, so I can't get to the workaround. Can you post it here on E2E please?

The workaround is incomplete. Please add USCI_Bx Interrupt Vector also.

Sorry, I forgot the UCBxIV registers. I created a child bug - check the workaround for SDSCM00040785 for the UCBxIV registers.

Is the workaround for SDSCM00040755 working ok?
