CCS_5.03 under Ubuntu: Project Delete Function Does not Work

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hi,

I have performed clean installations of both CCS_5.0.3.00022 and CCS_5.0.3.00028 (with Eclipse) under Ubuntu Natty (11.04), and in In both cases, the Eclipse delete project function does not work. i.e. Eclipse cannot delete the projects that it creates.   (However, it does work under Win7 for these versions.)

Regards,  Bernard

  • Bernard,

I could not find any issues with the Delete function of CCS under Ubuntu (both 32 and 64-bit versions).

Can you try the usual suspects and either use the -clean switch of use a different workspace? The CCS troubleshooting guide can help.

I am not sure if the version you are using (11.04) has anything to do with it. Keep in mind the only tested version is 10.04 (unfortunately it is very difficult to keep up with so many Linux releases and flavors available in the marketplace).

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

  • Hi,

I installed the CCS5.1.0.09000 also under Ubuntu 11.04 64bit. I had also the issue with the Delete function first.

After I changed the Appereance Preference to Clearlooks the problem has been solved (see screenshot). The problem is the pop up message which can not be shown from CCStudio under the default Appereance.

Hope this helps others as well,

    Mat
