Disassembly in CCS 4.2.3 (.word 0xXXXX)

Hello!

I have installed CCS 4.2.3 for 30-day evaluation period and met a problem. I can't see any instructions in the disassembly windows. Instead I see only .word 0xXXXX. I don't expect any problem with my project because:

a) Program actually works normally.

b) I tried my old complicated project and created new very simple one. I tried simulator or XDS100 emulator. Nothing helps.

c) It's all correct in CCS 4.2.1 with the same projects.

Please tell me what's the reason. My microcontroller is TMS320F28335.

Oleg,

What operating system are you running? Do you see the disassembly view issue with the example projects provided with ControlSuite for F28335? In other words, does the disassembly appear that way for all projects or only some?

I'm not sure if you're still experiencing this issue, but if you are, please take a look at this post for a fix that could help. Let us know if this helps resolve the issue.
