Generated code differs on two PC CCS 3.3

Hello

I have a question.

I have two PCs with WinXP sp3 and CCS 3.3 (target c6747)

Both have ccg v6.1.5 and the fast math lib Version 2.01.00.0 (I use it in the program)

both project setting are equal

But generated .out files differ.

Can anyone tell why?

Hi Irina,

actually the .out file is not the acutal binary code on the device. The .out files that are compiled by CCS are in a format called Common Object File Format (COFF).

Note the version and time stamp etc involved that might give slight differences.

Just adding to Lisa's reply, you can perform the object file comparison by using the utility objdiff - part of the Code Generation Tools XML Processing Scripts (cg_xml for short). A plugin for CCS is also available.
