License File problem

I downloaded a new license for my machine (Win XP) but CCS4 is not accepting it. It says "An error occured attempting to acquire a license for this product". Please let me know what I can do to get this working. I have verified that the host ID in the license file and on the computer match. Any suggestions? B.J.

    What kind of license do you have (floating? node-locked? platinum or mcu?)? What is the name of the *.lic file?

    So, based upon the other info in that FAQ, I just manually copied the new license file into the "ccsv4\DebugServer\license" directory, and it just worked. So basically, the UI provided by CCS was broken on my machine.
