Unable to use XGCONF Configuration Tool

I want to use the XGCONF tool to configure SYS/BIOS.

I created a new CCS project

But there is no .cfg file. So I created one in File > New > RTSC Configuration File

After creating this file, when I go to the project properties, I get this error:

None of the currently selected products supplies value for the Target. Please specify the Target manually, or try using a pre-3.30 version of XDCtools.

If I open the .cfg file with XGCONF, I get this error:

I could not find any solution to this. How can I get it working?

Hello,

Please note that XGCONF and TI-RTOS6 have been deprecated in support. I see you are trying to create a new project for a CC2652. I would suggest starting with an example from the latest SDK instead.

Thank you for the information. Would it be possible for you to ask the respective teams to update the links and the documentations please? It is very confusing.

TI-RTOS-MCU Operating system (OS) | TI.com - This link is apparently about information about the TI-RTOS. The documents linked in this page also seem outdated. The ones highlighted in the below image talk about using XGCONF.

The TI-RTOS 2.20 user guide (Rev M) is 7 years old.

This is the product page for TI-RTOS6 (which is being deprecated). Hence all the information there would be specific to TI-RTOS6.

I instead suggest referring to information for the SDK for your device instead:
