Convert Compiler warnings to Errors

I am using cl470. I am looking for an option to convert all compiler warnings to error except for a particular type.

With this option, I am able to suppress the warning which I want. -pden -pds=48

I was not able to find an option to treat remaining warnings as errors. Any suggestions?

What version of cl470 (not CCS) are you using? If your version of cl470 has it, use --emit_warnings_as_errors (or -pdew)

The latest version of the compiler (4.9.0) supports an option -pdew to treat warnings as errors. The TMS470 Compiler Users Guide documents the option.

If you are using CCSv4, you can update to this version of the compiler tools by going to menu Help->Software Updates->Find and Install.
