UniFlash Quick Settings Don't Show Category

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

A minor issue.

I added Erase Settings....

...to Quick Settings but the category (Erase) and therefore the context is missing:

In the above presentation, it's not completely clear to the user that these are Erase options.

In my view the words 'Erase Settings' should appear with the radio buttons when selected for Quick Settings.

  • , just tagging you since you seem to be the UniFlash guru.

  • Hi Kier,

If you select the "add" button at the category level, It should add the category name with all the options in the category:

Is your request to be able to add just specific options but still have the category name?

    Thanks

  • Hi Ki,

    Thanks for the response.

If you select the "add" button at the category level, It should add the category name with all the options in the category:

Ah. I missed that. Yes I can '+' at the group level which then gives context to the selections and buttons in that group. That kind of fixes the issue for me.

Is your request to be able to add just specific options but still have the category name?

Yes it was. I think the argument is still valid but now that I know I can add at the group level, it's probably not worth the effort I guess.

  • Kier,

As Ki mentioned, you can add an entire category/group to the Quick Settings.

For now, it is by design that the category/group heading is not added to Quick Settings if you add individual settings, as we wanted to allow users to mix settings together and create their own UI that way.

    Thanks,

    Ricky
