Hi Ungureanu,
In order to help you I would like to clarify a couple things first.
First of all can I clarify are you having problems with the MSP-FET430UIF or our gang programmer?
The software you show is for use with our Gang programmer and not with the MSP-FET430UIF. If you wish to use a flash programming tool with the MSP-FET430UIF, we do not provide one directly from TI, however there is nice free flash programmiing tool available from our partner Elprotronic (www.elprotronic.com)
Also from your screenshot you MSP-FET430UIF is on COM12 not COM13. You do not want the VCP you want the virtual COM port.
I hope this helps get you up and running. Please keep me informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Original programmer is from texas instruments MSP-FET430UIF $ 99 I just read amicrocontroller can write like a microchip PICkit 2 programmer.
To do this you need to download from that website? As we selected 12 and 13 ports. Thanks for help
Hello again Ungureanu,
the MSP430 is somewhat different than a PIC microcontroller.
At any rate if you have a MSP430 and MSP-FET430UIF. Then you can program the MSP by one of the following method
1) To flash a hex file or use a flash programmer. As mentioned this is available from Elprotronic. www.elprotronic.com. There is a free version that works with the MSP-FET430UIF and that is recommended by us.
2) To program and debug we support two compilers. The MSP is supported in our Code Composer Studio compiler as well as the IAR compiler (www.iar.com)

There are a few other third party tools and software available (for example Elprotronic also makes their own FET for the MSP430) however the above are basically the standard and recommended tools.
Please let me know if you still need further clarification.
Best Regards,
Lisa
