I would like to know whether there is any documentation available for ARM development with CCS5. In fact, most of time I found references to DSP programming.
Moreover, when I would like to build an ARM project with CCS5 (my host is a Ubuntu 11.04 32bit), and then to move the executable directly on my DM6446 board. Is there any particular target I should create in order to get a correct executable?

Hi Gabriele,
CCSv5 documentation is still a work in progress. There is some existing material on working with projects. It may use a DSP as the example but the concept is the same as using it with the ARM:

You can filter the list of 'Variant' for 'DaVinci DM644x' and select if you have the DM6446 EVM or a custom board.
Next, specify the 'Connection' you are using. Once you do that and hit 'Finish', it will create a target configuration for you. Then when you start debugging, it will know what board and emulator configuration to start the debugger for.
