What is the specific application scenario of these two debug options?

Hi Team,

I don't understand these two options' specific application scenario:

When I click on the "debug" button to debug a target, the target will be reset by the debugger, like pull low the XRS or nTRST pin.

So what is these two options used for?

And what is the differences of reset & restart?
