Where from can I make makefile.am243x.r5f.ti-arm-clang

Hi,

After installing the SDK I see that in C:\ti\mcu_plus_sdk_am243x_08_06_00_43\source\drivers there is a makefile.am243x.r5f.ti-arm-clang

Was it used during installation to obtain the drivers.am243x.r5f.ti-arm-clang.debug.lib ?

Can I use it from within the CCS , or should I use some other way ?

I have a large project already compiled with GCC so I would like to try and use the makefile to create a lib with GCC later on.

Hi Eli,

All the libraries in the MCU+ SDK are built using makefile. Only the example projects are using CCS project files to import and build.

To clean or build libraries, you need to go to the C:\ti\mcu_plus_sdk_am243x_08_06_00_43 directory, then use the following commands:

gmake -f makefile.am243x libs PROFILE=debug #for build debug version of libraries

gmake -f makefile.am243x libs PROFILE=release #for build release version of libraries
