· Hi,

I am using the OMAP-L137 EVM board and with the Code composer studio V3.3. After compiling I got this linking error:

run placement fails for object ".far"

error: errors encountered during linking; "./Debug/project_DSP.out" not built

Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

I've moved your post to the compiler forum.

Is that the complete error message? Does it say something such as .far being too large to fit into a given memory segment? That's typically the reason for a linker error like you're seeing. You can resolve the issue by allocating .far to a different memory segment in your linker command file (or in your tcf if using DSP/BIOS).

What compiler version are you using?
