Hello,

Recently we purchased two copies of CCS4 (MCU edition).

For one of new projects we need to use MSP430FR5739IDA; but the CCS4 (MCU edition) does not support it.

I checked CCS4 Platinum Version supports the same device.

Please reply can we upgrade exixting CCS4(MCU) to CCS4 Platinum?

Bhushan,

There is no difference in MSP430 device support between CCS MCU and CCS Platinum, both licenses support the same set of MSP430 devices. You do not need to upgrade to a Platinum license.

I would suggest downloading the CCSv4.2.4 image from here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS

Then drop in your CCS MCU license file.

I looked in my CCSv4.2.3 image that is using an MCU license and MSP430FR5739 is listed in the device list.

Hi John,

Thanks for reply, so if I download the CCSv4.2.4 image, I can use my existing license of CCS MCU for it?
