CCS Linux and GLIBC versions

I'm trying to use CCS on an older RedHat Linux system that has glibc 2.17. Does anyone know which version of CCS will run on this system? I know v12.4.0 requires glibc 2.25 and I'd rather not install a bunch of different versions to find out what the dependencies are if I don't have to. I didn't see anything in the Release Notes that said what the dependencies are.

  • Hi Bill,

Please note that RedHat was never an officially supported distro hence we can't guarantee that any CCS version will successfully run on it. That said, there have been users would were able to get it to work after resolving all the dependencies.

As for the glibc version, you *should* be ok with up to CCS 9.x. I recall CCS 10.x requires glibc 2.18+

    Hope this helps

  • Thanks so much!
(I get it about ReHat support, but you know corporate entities; I had to go with what they install and support.)
