Hi,

 

I am using CCSV4.2.4.00033  against CC430F6137 and JTAG(MSP-FET430UIF ) .

When I tried to import existing CCS project in to my workspace it is not recognizing any files

and displaying an error like"error retrieving contents description for resources:OT_CC430_GatewayDemo1/~testbed_CC430.c".

I thought its problem with workspace but previously  I could able to imported this project and no errors but now Its causing the problems.

Does any one knows about the cause?

    Hi Jagas,

    Could you please provide a couple more details.

    - did this start occuring when updating from v4.2.3 to v4.2.4?

    - does this happen with multiple projects?  Or are only some projects problematic?

    - could you please have a look and let me know what settings you have under Project -> Properties -> CCS Build ?   I have attached an example screenshot.

    Hi Lisa,

    I updated my CCS few days back.but I did not check this project with the old version.

    This is first time I am trying to import this project to CCS .Previously same problem

    occur with other project when I deleted the workspace belongs that project and trying

     to import the project into new workspace with different name.I resolved it by creating

    a workspace with deleted workspace name(because every file have a link from that original workspace).

    its was solved but this is first time I am importing this project I did not create any workspace

    nor deleted any workspace.So I could not able to solve this one. I almost have same settings as yours.

    Hi Jagas,

    could you please try a couple things and let me know.

    First simply try importing the project without "Copy projects into workspace" selected. 

    Second in the CCS Build settings change the code generation tools version to 3.3.3 if you can, if not then the latest version you have which appears to be 3.3.2.

    Hi Lisa,

    I think its actually problem with the existing project which I am  trying to import.

    and my project leader suggest me  to use TINY OS or any RTOS  from TI for my board .

    Can you please tell me where can I get that TINY OS or RTOS so that I can develop my

    own application.

    Hi Jadas,

    Have a look at this useful wiki page which goes over RTOS options for the MSP430.   Most of them, of course, are from third parties.
