Error building a DSP/BIOS project

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hi,

I am having an error while building a project using DSP/BIOS version 5.41.10.36 on OMAPL138 (C6748 DSP board) and CCSv4.2.3.

Build complete for project hwi_audio

Can anyone please tell me what might be the cause? Thanks in advance!

Debarati.

  • Debarati,

The build will not work with a UNC path like \\austin.utexas.edu.

I am guessing that you have imported a project from another machine into the workspace on your machine.  Instead setup a mapped drive letter for part of the path, maybe \\austin.utexas.edu\disk\engrstu\ece.  Then import the project from there.

  • Hi John,

Thanks for your help! I changed the part of the path to Z:\ and the errors are gone now.

    Debarati.

  • Debarati,

I am having the same issue. Could you clarify for me how exactly you changed the path to Z:\?  Did you change the drive letter directly or what exactly?

    Thanks for your help!

    Dustin

  • Hi Dustin,

If you are working on a network drive, there is a folder called home directory (in my case it was labeled Z:\). Suppose, you are trying to access a folder, say, located in desktop. Instead of accessing it directly, first go to the home directory, and then go to desktop, and access the folder. Now, use the path to the folder. This will give you the path containing Z:\ instead of the ordinary path. Use this path while linking and adding files or folders to CCS.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    Debarati.

  • Ah, I got it going now, Thanks Debarati!
