when I tried to open a project from new SDK, it prompted me to install the new sysconfig
clicking the "see", lead me to this page
2. Updating CCS 9.3.0 — SysConfig documentation
in the page it says I should install the sysconfig to
<root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig
however, i only have " <root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig_1.17.0"
for me the root is C:\ti\ccs1240\
I tried 3 methods, all end up with the same update required page
1. install the new sysconfig directly to " <root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig_1.17.0"
2. rename" <root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig_1.17.0", to " <root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig_1.17.0_bakcup__",
create a new folder called, " <root>/ccs/utils/sysconfig_1.18.0", and install inside
3.install sysconfig to c/ti/
I am using CCS12.4
Hello,
2. Updating CCS 9.3.0 — SysConfig documentation
This document is old. I would instead download 1.18 from:
https://www.ti.com/tool/SYSCONFIG
And install it in the default C:\ti directory. CCS should then be able to detect the installation. If it is unable to automatically detect it, you can manually have it discovered (see "Product Discovery") section of: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__AO8DVCZhl0Kt5-yIAVmyvQ__ccs_devtools__FUz-xrs__LATEST
Thanks
