Can't open memory window?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320VC5505

I'm using  the CCS V4.2.4.00033. After loading the program, I find that CCS can't open the memory window. If I do it, CCS will give a error. error is "C55xx: Trouble Reading Memory Block at 0x1 on Page 2 of Length 0x7e: (Error -1069 @ 0xFC) Device memory bus has an error and may be hung. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Release 5.0.429.0) ".

Anybody knows the reasons?

  • Hello,

Is the address location you are trying to view indeed valid memory? Is the debugger memory map enabled? What exact device are you using?

    Thanks

  • Hi

    Thanks for the post.

I uses the TMS320VC5505  ezdsp and I can make sure that the address is valid. Two days ago, it can run correctly. But now  it has a error. Besides the address is the peripherals'  registers. About memory map, I don't know where it is and how to enable it. Can you tell me how to do it?

    Thanks again,

    Regards,
